Automotive air conditioning systems generate cold air similarly to a home’s air conditioner and refrigerator; a compressor moves pressurized refrigerant between a condenser and evaporator as the refrigerant changes forms while removing heat from the air. Air conditioning components are ultimately mechanical and susceptible to degradation with use. A/C systems require as-needed maintenance, beginning with an inspection/diagnosis that verifies the problem and lays the groundwork for an effective repair.

• A/C Inspection/Diagnosis: Restoring A/C performance starts with an inspection/diagnosis by a qualified technician who understands your vehicle and its A/C components inside and out. Our certified technicians start A/C inspections/diagnoses by considering the performance deficits relayed by the driver. We inspect the A/C system and involved components to confirm the problem while formulating a repair recommendation that restores performance at factory specifications.
• Refrigerant Recharge: The most common A/C deficit is low refrigerant requiring recharge service. A/C recharge includes a thorough system inspection to find the source of the leak. We might recommend repairs for faulty/damaged components allowing refrigerant to leak. A/C recharge service ends with refrigerant at capacity and performance restored.
• Compressor Repair: The compressor is a pump that pressurizes and moves refrigerant through the system. Compressors receive energy from a pulley connected to the serpentine/drive belt. The pulley has a bearing that might go bad and require repair. The compressor might also wear out with enough use and require replacement.
• Cabin Air Filter Replacement: A clogged cabin air filter can restrict the flow of conditioned air from the blower motor into the cabin. A replacement service can remedy this situation.
• Condenser & Evaporator Repair: The condenser and evaporator work together to remove heat from the air. They can get clogged and damaged. An inspection/diagnosis determines if these components need cleaning or replacement.
